Obituary

Raymond Leo Terhaar Jr., 76, of Jacksonville died Jan. 20, 2015, at Onslow Memorial Hospital.
He was a retired gunnery sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Nancy Gerring Terhaar of the home; sons, Raymond Terhaar III of Sharpsburg, Maryland, James Terhaar of the United Kingdom; daughter, Crystal Hochstrasser of Jacksonville; sister, Beverly Stewart of Rochester, New York; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24 at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
