Fighting Holes

The picture above (I hope it's there) was taken at either Cam Lo or C-2 sometime around Jan 68 I think.
This 'fortified' fighting position was part of the defensive perimeter around the base. You will note that the
ammo boxes are correctly positioned so that the window will stay open without the use of a stick. Fox Co
inherited these positions from another company renouned for their engineering prowess.
The only thing missing was a bullseye. The Seabees eventually came along and did a much better job.

Nice pics and thanks for posting them. I would agree about the time frame. Some time in Feb we all figured out that if we put chain link fence in front the RPG's would explode before getting to the bunker.
