General Doolittle

I lived in Southern California, Orange County, from 1965 thru 1983.
I have a pilots license, I could fly Southern California by memory. From San Francisco to Lake Tahoe and south to the Mexican Border and from Catalina Is. to Las Vegas.
I flew out of Fullerton Airport.
I've mde full instrument landings at LAX.
My piloting kills were as good as anyones.

One day as I was checking the oil level in an airplane that I was about to fly a littl old man walked up to me.
He asked me if I wanted to fly a WWII type aircraft.
I said "No".
H asked "why not?"
I replied, "Bcause it's been done".
He walked away...

I said no because I'm not interested in being a might have been. (A might have been is a never was).
Also my flight window was closing.
I live with chronic pain caused by my combat wounds.
It was causing me to become air sick.
I was starting to get vertigo. (spatal disorientation).
I was having trouble getting VA health care benefits.
I have family porblems in regard to servalience and stalking.

I was not only unhappy living in So. Cal., I was miserably unhappy!!!
Everyon who lives there thinks that he or she is gonna get that lucky break and get into Hollywood.
Southern Califoria is a HOLE!
The day I left was the first day of the rest of my life.

The little old man was General Jimmy Doolittle.
